Shared note |
Elizabeth is shown on her gravestone to be the daughter of Thomas and Ann Challis but there is no record of her as such in the parish records. Her burial is shown in parish records under her married name and her wedding is shown but a query is her children. Her son Thomas's death is shown and the marriage of three daughters, who appear to be hers the way they are presented in Birchams, Adah 1857, Martha 1859 and Jane in 1860 but this makes them all marrying in their 30's and so I wonder if they were daughters of Thomas Mynott in, what I believe to be, his second marriage to Sarah Hurry (1832) although of course there was plenty of time for her to have these children between marriage and Thomas. |
