Certainly Ann did marry a John Marsh as is evidenced by her gravestone in the Sawston Church yard which has an inscription in memory of Ann wife of John Marsh daughter of Thomas and Ann Challis who departed this life April 30 1822 aged 32 years.

Marriage	There is a record of marriage between two people of these names in the Parish Records but we cannot be certain it is these two individuals. Certainly Ann did marry a John Marsh as is evidenced by her gravestone in the Sawston Church yard which has an inscription in memory of Ann wife of John Marsh daughter of Thomas and Ann Challis who departed this life April 30 1822 aged 32 years.
Shared note	On her gravestone Ann is said to be the daughter of Thomas and Ann Challis but there is nothing in parish records to show this. Her burial is noted under her married name but no other reference. The footstone on her grave is marked AM 1827, her initials but not the correct year of death or burial.
